I, Aadil bin Mubaarak al-Mutayraat, have chosen this topic for the following reasons:
(1) As far as I know, there is no special book available in this topic except for the small pocket-size book by Abdullah bin Jaarullah Aal Jaarullah.
(2) The issues regarding the ghusl are related in the main fiqh books and so I desired to collect them into a small book, so that everyone can take full benefit.
(3) Many of the Muslims today are unaware and ignorant regarding the issues and rulings of the ghusl.
(4) That this book is a continuation in the series of books fiqh which give specialised explanation of the Sunnah of the Prophet in the acts of worship, like sifat us-salah un-Nabi and Hajj un-Nabi, both of them by The A'llaamah of Shaam, Shiekh Muhammad Naasir-ud-adeen Albaani, may Allah have mercy upon him, Sifat Wudhoo un-Nabi by Fahd ash-Shu'ayb, Ahkaam ul-Adhaan by Aboo' Abdur-Rahman Mahmood and sifaat Sawm un-Nabi by Saleem al-Hilaalee and Alee Hasan ' Abdul Hameed, and others.
