Description from the publisher:
Within this compilation we want to briefly shed some light on the status of non-Muslim women before Islam - and even after Islam, within the other world religions and civilizations - regarding their treatment, rights and what respect is afforded to them. By observing the status of non-Muslim women, how they are treated by their societies, and whether or not their rights are upheld, we are hoping that we should be able to better realize the blessing and virtue of being Muslim and especially being a Muslim woman. Hopefully this will lead many to better understand Islam, clear up any misconceptions or dbouts one may have about Islam or Muslim women. Furthermore, we hope to increase the the awareness of non-Muslims by enlightening them about the status of women in Islam in hopes that many of the non-Muslim women throughout the world and in the West especially, will embrace Islam. We ask Allah to guide all those who read this compilation to the true Islam based upon the Quran, Sunnah and understanding of the noble companions.
